Friends- please help me clear out the remaining photography stuff so I can have my garage back!!
I have 8 rolls of seamless paper left- 54”- more than half on each- selling as a bundle for $150
Remaining Kate backdrops/ posted below- as a bundle for $175 (individually $20 each)
More than 25 newborn Jersey stretch fabric backdrops- there are 2-3 yards of each color depending on when I bought them- and more than 25 wraps- selling all as a bundle for $350 firm- that’s basically free swaddle wraps (one of the backdrops usually ran me $30+ depending on JoAnn coupons!)
One heart bowl- $30
Maternity dresses- $150 (there are at least 8 left, will verify tomorrow- great opportunity for client closet!)
A heater- $10

Seven years ago, I picked up a camera and started a journey that would change my life forever.

Today, I turn out the lights on that chapter.

For seven beautiful years, we've made the ordinary extraordinary together. We've celebrated tiny newborn fingers and toes, first birthdays, growing families, seniors stepping into the next chapter, and countless moments that deserved to be remembered forever. You trusted me with your stories, your milestones, and your memories—and that is a gift I will never take for granted.

What many people don't see is the blood, sweat, tears, late nights, early mornings, sacrifices, worries, victories, and endless passion that went into building this dream. This little business became so much more than photography. It became a part of me.

Closing this chapter has not been easy. In truth, it has broken my heart in ways I wasn't prepared for. But sometimes life asks us to let go of something beautiful so we can find our way back to ourselves.

As I stand here looking at the lights going out, I realize they aren't really going out at all.

They're simply lighting a new path.

A path back to my roots. Back to the wild places that first made me fall in love with photography. Back to creating for the pure joy of it...

While this chapter is ending, my story isn't. This isn't goodbye. It's simply "see you soon."

Thank you for every session booked, every kind word shared, every referral made, every image loved, and every family who invited me into their lives. You helped build something I will carry with me forever.

So tonight, the lights go out on one dream.

Tomorrow, a new fire begins.

After sharing that I would be closing the chapter on my studio journey, so many of you asked what would come next. The truth was… I wasn’t completely sure yet. But deep down, I knew whatever came next would be a return to my roots — to the places that make me feel grounded. Today, I’m excited to introduce something new.

Emberwild Photography

Emberwild will be the sister brand to everything I’ve built over the years — the wild, adventurous, untamed side of my photography journey. While newborns and families will always hold a special place in my heart, photography has always been bigger than a studio for me. Some of my greatest peace has been found outdoors — chasing sunsets, quiet landscapes, wild encounters, fresh air, and the feeling of standing somewhere that reminds you how small we really are.

The name Emberwild came from two ideas that deeply resonated with me:

* Ember — something that still glows after the fire. A quiet reminder that even after one chapter ends, there is still passion, and life waiting to grow into something new.
* Wild — a return to nature, freedom, adventure, and the untamed places that feel like home to me.

Together, Emberwild represents resilience, rediscovery, and returning to what grounds me.

Over the next few months, I’ll be slowly building and launching this brand — sharing landscapes, wildlife, adventure, travel, and the moments in nature that inspire me most. It won’t look the same as the newborns and family sessions many of you have followed me for over the years, but I truly believe it will bring me just as much joy in a different way.

I’d love to invite you all to follow along on this new adventure with me as Emberwild Photography comes to life.

If you have any interest in the backdrops- newborn fabric backdrops($25 each), or want to check out the clothes that are left (newborn outfits $15 each, maternity dresses $25 each), please let me know. I also have a lot of baby girl headbands, too. Bassinet is still available, and looking to sell the pink gingerbread minis set up, too.
I need to have everything out by Friday.

Friends, I am officially turning off booking. All gift certificates have been scheduled, and mini sessions are now sold out. The next two weeks are going to be incredibly difficult for me as I wrap up and clear out the studio- I simply do not have capacity to take on additional clients right now.
