Seven years ago, I picked up a camera and started a journey that would change my life forever.
Today, I turn out the lights on that chapter.
For seven beautiful years, we've made the ordinary extraordinary together. We've celebrated tiny newborn fingers and toes, first birthdays, growing families, seniors stepping into the next chapter, and countless moments that deserved to be remembered forever. You trusted me with your stories, your milestones, and your memories—and that is a gift I will never take for granted.
What many people don't see is the blood, sweat, tears, late nights, early mornings, sacrifices, worries, victories, and endless passion that went into building this dream. This little business became so much more than photography. It became a part of me.
Closing this chapter has not been easy. In truth, it has broken my heart in ways I wasn't prepared for. But sometimes life asks us to let go of something beautiful so we can find our way back to ourselves.
As I stand here looking at the lights going out, I realize they aren't really going out at all.
They're simply lighting a new path.
A path back to my roots. Back to the wild places that first made me fall in love with photography. Back to creating for the pure joy of it...
While this chapter is ending, my story isn't. This isn't goodbye. It's simply "see you soon."
Thank you for every session booked, every kind word shared, every referral made, every image loved, and every family who invited me into their lives. You helped build something I will carry with me forever.
So tonight, the lights go out on one dream.
Tomorrow, a new fire begins.
