This past week allowed me to bake one of the most beautiful cakes I have ever had the pleasure of baking! It was a vanilla sponge, filled with key lime curd, and frosted in swiss meringue. Everything on this cake was made from edible decorations. The shells, anchor, ropes, and barnacles are made from white modeling chocolate. While the "waves" were made using Vietnamese rice paper. It was the most fun I have had in a while!
