I’ve been pretty quiet this past year as I knew it was going to be my last year and I was busy with other projects and grandkids. It’s hard to juggle it all. But I wanted to reach out and let everyone know I did not renew my Cottage Food Permit which means I can no longer open sell items from my bakery. I still have event support items for rent but my body objects to heavy set up of weddings and other large events requiring heavy lifting any longer. My focus will now be on retirement stuff, all those projects that need my attention and my grandkids who are really the best ever!

It’s been a fun ride and I greatly appreciate all of your business and all of you wonderfully supportive customers! Thank You!

After 7 years I had my first last minute cancellation for a baby shower after doing the bake. I’ve always trusted my customers by not taking a deposit (never been disappointed by any of you) and keeping my prices low (well below industry standards) so more can afford custom cookies for their events but now I find that I have to take a loss which makes me reconsider deposits. How do you all feel about deposits.
