After over a decade of sharing Christopher's Train Garden at Brooms Bloom, we had to make the very difficult and emotional decision to not continue. However, I am happy to share that the Lions Club is continuing the tradition at Brooms with a train display of their own and is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11-5 throughout December.

We are incredibly thankful to Kate Dallam and everyone at Brooms Bloom for their support, kindness and generosity year after year. When we first opened Christopher's Train Garden on November 24, 2008 (the one-year anniversary of our son's passing), we had no idea how special it would become. As our little train garden grew so did the memories. We were touched by the families who made our train garden part of their holiday tradition and being part of children's smiles and excitement was truly magical. We feel blessed to have met so many wonderful people and will always and forever cherish those memories.

It’s train time again! Can’t believe how quickly time flies. Christopher’s Train Garden will be opening its doors for the 10th season on November 23rd! Christopher’s Train Garden is located at Brooms Bloom Dairy, 1700 S Fountain Green Road, Bel Air Md 21015. We are open 12pm-8pm Wednesday’s – Sunday’s from November 23, 2018 through December 30, 2018.

We are very excited for this anniversary year. We have added several new items and can’t wait to share them with everyone. To all the families who have made Christopher’s Train Garden part of their holiday tradition, we thank you and hope you will come and celebrate with us again this year.

For those who have never visited, Christopher’s Train Garden was built in memory of our son Christopher who passed away in 2007 from complications of panhypopituitarism, a rare pituitary condition. Christopher’s Train Garden is a happy place filled with love, laughter, lots of trains and holiday activities.

This year we have nine different trains including the Polar Express, Thomas, and new for this year, Hogwarts Express. There are three trains that little engineers (and big ones) can operate themselves. The trains circle in and around mountains and villages, as well as, models of local Bel Air establishments and a model of the Ocean City boardwalk. We also have an area for kids to color and write letters to Santa and two train tables for the younger kids to play.

Santa visits every Saturday and Sunday from 12 -2. During the Santa times we always have additional activities such as cookie decorating or crafts.

Christopher’s Train Garden and all events we sponsor are FREE!

Christopher's Train Garden is officially open for the 2017 season at Brooms Bloom Dairy, 1700 Fountain Green Road, Bel Air MD 21015. Hours are Wednesday - Sunday 12-8. Santa visits every Saturday and Sunday 12-2. Lots of fun activities for all ages. Christopher's Train Garden and all activities are free.

Santa will be at Christopher's Train Garden every Saturday and Sunday from 12-2. We will have cookie decorating and Olaf will make some occasional visits. Just a reminder that the train garden is open 12-8 every Wednesday through Sunday. In addition to the trains there is an area to color, write letters to Santa, take a trivia challenge, a play table and many other special surprises. Also, if you would like to be a part of this year's memory book feel free to share your pictures or you can e-mail them to [email protected]. Christopher's Train Garden opens for its 8th year today November 25, 2016 at 12 pm. Our hours this year are Wednesday through Sunday 12-8. Santa will visit 12-2 every Saturday and Sunday. We look forward to seeing many familiar faces as well as meeting new families. We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Our schedule for the remainder of the year is Tuesday 12/29 and Wednesday 12/30 12pm -8pm and New Year's Eve we are open 12 pm - 5 pm. December 31st is our last day open for the season. We are very excited that Christopher’s Train Garden will be opening for its 7th season beginning Friday November 27, 2015. There will be special opening day activities including cookie decorating, crafts, treats and a visit from everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf! The train garden will be open every Wednesday through Sunday 12-8 pm, November 27th – December 30th. Santa and Olaf visit every Saturday from 12 – 2 pm and Mrs. Claus is sending her yummy gingerbread cookies to decorate once again.
This year’s layout has been re-designed in a new permanent building at Brooms Bloom, thanks to the wonderful generosity of Kate Dallam. We have added more trains, new displays and local landmarks in addition to all the favorites. Also, for those kids (and adults) that like to be the engineer, you will be happy to hear we now have two trains they can operate by themselves. There is still a play area for children to color, write letters to Santa, make crafts, as well as, a train table for younger children. Christopher’s Train Garden and all events it sponsors are always free. We are looking forward to another magical season and hope you will join us.

Christopher's Train Garden opens its 2014 season on Saturday November 29th at 12 pm. Santa visits every Saturday and Sunday from 12-2 and brings cookies to decorate, crafts and treats. We will be open every Wednesday - Sunday 12-8 through December 28th. (The week of Christmas we will be open December 22nd and 23rd but closed December 24 and 25th). We hope you will stop by and see some of our new attractions as well as the old favorites.

Christopher's Train Garden opens this Sunday, November 24 from 12-8. We are busy putting the final touches on everything. There will be cookie decorating, crafts and special treats throughout the day. Hope you will stop by and visit.
