Molasses Cookies

Next up is a Twigg family classic, a cut-out Molasses Cookie! 🍪🎄

Confession time… I’m not well practiced at decorating cookies like these! I apologize for the white icing 😂 but no matter how they look, it always feels like Christmas time when I smell the aroma of these spicy cookies in the oven. The dark toasty and robust flavors make this cookie not too sweet and well balanced.

SpongeBob Themed 25th Birthday Cake

Sunday morning Pumpkin Bread

Recipe testing a pumpkin bread loaf this morning with a can of pumpkin found in the back of the pantry. It needs a few tweaks but still a very tasty treat! I hope to make it with some homemade pumpkin purée next time too 🎃

Graduation Cake and Cupcakes and a Unicorn smash cake!

Strawberries and Cream flavor cake. Vanilla sponge, filled with vanilla pastry cream, tons of fresh strawberries, and strawberry jam, frosted with Swiss meringue buttercream. Unicorn smash cake made with whip cream for an easier smash experience 🙂

Bride and Groom Cake pops!

Vanilla for the Bride and Chocolate for the Groom.

These cake pop wedding favors were very popular at my wedding! My husband and I stayed up extra late for a few nights in a row to complete all ~250 cake pops. The Groom cake pop was personalized to my husband’s suit’s colors (blue with pink accessories).

Robin Blue Easter Cake

Vanilla and Chocolate cake layered with vanilla and chocolate pastry cream. Frosted with Swiss Meringue Buttercream and swirls of Whipped Chocolate Ganache. Topped with the cutest mini-malted eggs and dusted with a bit of edible gold luster dust.
