Ministry meeting 7:30 am in church meeting room. Join us for coffee, bagels and hearty discussion about:
How do we know which desires in us rise from God’s passionately creative love? Negatively, we know that any desire that leads to sin cannot come from God. Positively, every desire rising out of God’s infinite love leads to love – love of God, of neighbor, and of self. A desire that is holy enacts love, making me more loving and inviting others to be the same.
We will discuss questions such as: Was there a moment in the past when I was able to recognize God’s desire for me? Was it in the moment or in hindsight? Moving forward, how will I discern God’s desire for me?
