This cake was hard to do since I wasn't able to gain access to the actual guitar to get accurate measurements. The measurements came from one of my father's guitars that my son, Kyle, has and he had to send me the measurements by text, thanks Kyle. I was lucky enough to have Peter's girlfriend, Karen, sneak and send me pictures of the guitar. Thank you to my wonderful fiance, Colleen for helping me with this cake. Last but not least, thanks to Colleen's daughter, Fionna, for providing some good pics of the cake.

Well...it's been a while since I made any cakes, since January actually. I made a retirement cake that I will post soon but this coming Friday will be my most important cake EVER!!! I am making a my very FIRST WEDDING CAKE for two of my closest friends, Nick & Kristen. I can't tell you how honored I am that they asked me to do this for them. Wicked nervous but I have this all planned out. I even made the cake digitally to get my idea down and OK'd by the couple. Here is the rough idea of what I am going to do. Let me know if you can figure out the birds on the cake (NICK & KRISTEN'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GUESS!!) LOL! Because you know...

For those of you who don't know this organization was founded by Joseph Macchia to assist children living with HIV/AIDS. They have a goal for 2012 but in the mean time part of it is to get as many likes as they can.
