Who needs some sourdough bread to use for Thanksgiving stuffing? We over baked for the Yellow Springs Street Fair and had a few come back. Now is the time to come and get these loaves of bread that will expire this weekend. Stick them in your freezer and they’re perfect for your homemade recipe of your own stuffing mix! 🦃🍗

This post hurts…. If you’ve had the privilege of knowing Marvin and Christine Olinsky, you know what wonderful people they are and the many, many contributions Marvin has had through Five Rivers Metro Park and just so much more.  For me, he was someone who believed in me many years ago  when he told me that he was the former CEO of Five Rivers Metro Park and that he thought that my product and display at the very first Sweet Treats Festival ( thank you, Lisa Grigsby for dreaming up this event, and Shannon Teague  for encouraging me to enter this festival with my very small little farmers market bakery business at that time) was worthy enough to be in front of people and connected me to the market manager at 2nd Street Market in downtown Dayton. This connection changed my career from that moment on and for the last 13 1/2 years, this business has taken me places and has allowed me to experience things that- to this day- still blow my mind.  Marvin and Christine would often come to my shop in Beavercreek, even after I left 2nd Street Market after 4 years there ( and where I met many of you, my faithful customers, who are still like family to me and still come to Beavercreek to support us- thank you!) to grow my wholesale business and partner with Coffee Hub in Beavercreek, which kept us very busy. They even came to see me just a couple months ago.  He always made a point to tell me how proud he was of all that I’ve accomplished.  Marvin, I will never forget you and I will always treasure in my heart what you and Christine  did for me all those years ago and were a huge part of my journey of success.  The world has lost a local legend. Please do some reading up on Marvin and his stellar career. You will be amazed to find out all the things that you enjoy around the parks in Dayton have a lot to do with his creative and genius contribution. 

Thank you, thank you, my dear friend, Marvin Olinsky. I will never, ever forget you!  Prayers for Christine and Rebecca and all of their family. 💔🙏🏻
