The Greene Team Cloverbud & 4-H Club

08/31/2026

Congratulations to Nora and Madison for earning awards at the Ohio State Fair earlier this month! Nora won outstanding ribbon and a clock trophy for Ohio Birds, year 1. Madison won an outstanding ribbon for Beginning Fishing.

Outstanding ribbons are given to the top 10% of each project while the clock trophy is presented to the overall winner in each project category.

Great job ladies! ❤️

Here are a few important points about 4-H itself and our club.

-Annual Dues are $20 per member. most of this is turned around and given to the State or County 4-H level, but some is used for club needs and awards.

-Cloverbud members (k-2nd grade) work on group projects during meetings; these are led by our Cloverbud advisor, Lisa. Some of the projects are shared at a county event or county fair.

-4-H members (3rd -12th grade) work on individual projects, chosen by the family; they are mainly worked on at home but get support from Project advisor Jerry and Organizational Advisor Elizabeth during meetings as well as other times if needed and scheduled by the family. The advisors walk through helpful tips at each meeting and check on the project progress.

These project books are typically $12, unless otherwise noted. Here is a link to learn more about the projects available:

This Sunday, we celebrate our 2025-26 4-H year by ending the same way we started: by building little pantries for Feed the Creek . This weekend we will build replacements for the library and Shaw Elementary! ❤️

September starts the new 4-H year. Remember this important information:
-We meet monthly all year long in Beavercreek, Ohio.
-We are a non-livestock group; small animal projects are permitted.
-We have Cloverbuds (Kindergarten through 2nd grade) as well as traditional 4-H (3rd grade+)
-We are considered a specialty club for children with differing abilities and their siblings; this means anyone from any County that fits in that category is able to join our club.

Please contact us if you have any questions or are interested in joining us!

❤️ It is so important to reach our community in practical and real ways, especially right now! ❤️

All our members helped cut and paint the pantry; it was a great experience with the supervision and guidance of the club dads.

Thank you to the Greene Team 4H Club for building and then replacing the Little Pantry at the District Pre-Beavercreek City Schools
