The next chapter of our story is starting! And all are welcome!

We're building a community-centered market where local businesses, neighbors, and families can come together, connect, and support one another.

With rising costs, drought conditions, fuel prices, and the many challenges small businesses already face, we believe vendors shouldn't have to pay for the opportunity to connect with their community, grow their businesses, and support their families. That's why we're committed to offering no-cost vendor spaces as we launch this next chapter at the Florida Grange.

📍 Wednesdays | 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

If you're interested in being part of what we're building, we'd love to hear from you.

Let's grow something great together.

BIG NEWS!!! WE'RE MOVING!!!

You know how when you start seeds, you usually begin them in a small container first?

Not because that’s where they’re meant to stay forever — but because it’s where they’re protected enough to take root.

Then one day you realize the roots are pressing against the edges, growth is slowing down, and if you want the plant to truly thrive… it needs a larger pot.

This little market has grown.

More vendors.
More ideas.
More opportunity.
More community.

And with that growth comes the need for more room -- room for safer parking, better traffic flow, more vendor space, community activities, produce and all the beautiful things that come with market season. In 9 weeks, we organically grew from 1 vendor to 10. All being represented in a small space filled very intentionally.

We had a choice of pruning ourselves back to fit the container or transition into a space that better supports what this market is becoming. So, we’re embracing growth and looking toward a new partnership and location. Not far away. We're limiting our search to a very small radius to stay close to where our roots took place.

Elmore’s Corner Store gave this market a place to take root. It gave us visibility, support, familiarity, and a starting place to grow something that the community quickly embraced.

Because of that, Elmore’s will always be part of our story, our namesake, and part of the support system that helped make this possible. It’s a landmark in our community, and we’ll always be grateful for what started there thanks to Nick. We look forward to continuing that relationship!

This isn’t about walking away from Elmore’s Corner Store. It’s about giving something growing the room it needs to flourish. 🌱

This Saturday, bright and early, we’ll be meeting with a local board over a cup of coffee to officially discuss and pitch the next potential home for the market. We’re excited, hopeful, and incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be having these conversations about the future of Elmore's Mid-Week Market!

There will be a new booth at Elmore's Mid-Week Market!

The Shared Roots Collective booth was created to support local makers, growers, artisans, young entrepreneurs, and community causes through every season of life and business.

Not every small business owner can physically attend every market — and that’s okay. Some are spending long days in the fields tending crops. Some are growing and tending to their families. Some are balancing full-time jobs while building dreams after hours. Others are navigating seasons that simply require a little extra support and flexibility. And some are prepping for other markets or are already at other markets/events hosted on the same day.

This booth exists to help keep those roots connected to their community.

The Shared Roots Collective brings together vendors from multiple markets, professions, generations, and walks of life in one shared space; built on collaboration over competition and community over convenience. Alongside handmade goods and locally grown products, this booth will also highlight local causes and organizations that work to strengthen and support our neighbors. It will create opportunities for young entrepreneurs to grow, learn, and be part of something meaningful.

In many ways, markets like these are a quiet resistance to disconnection, mass production, and the loss of community-centered living. Every handmade item, every locally grown vegetable, every conversation across a market table helps keep real people, real stories, and local economies alive.

Supporting local doesn’t just mean supporting businesses — it means supporting people and realizing we're stronger when we embrace and encourage each other in whatever capacity we can.

The banner is officially ordered! If this sounds like a good fit for you- reach out! We'll learn and grow together! Thank you all!

Stewardship • Connection • Community • Collaboration • Opportunity • Transparency

We had a beautiful day at Elmore's Mid-Week Market yesterday! My kiddos had a blast at the kid's booth! Beyond sales, it was wonderful to see the other vendors, the customers' smiles and my kiddos laughing and playing! I'm so excited for the awesome things to come for this Market; for growth and opportunities for all our community members!

I've been in business for over a year and a half; and yesterday was a first for me. I wanted to say this because honestly I was so shocked in the moment I couldn't think of the words.

Running a small business means putting a piece of yourself out into the world every week.

Behind every booth is a real person — usually tired, stressed, balancing family, finances, health, lack of sleep, and still showing up early to create something meaningful for their community. Many of us are doing this while raising kids, hauling equipment, baking late into the night, and taking risks because we genuinely care about what we’re building.

If something you buy from me ever misses the mark, I will always do my best to make it right. Honest feedback matters to me. Growth matters. Refunds, replacements, conversations — I’m open to any & all of it.

But there’s a difference between constructive feedback and public cruelty- in front of other customers, in front of my children & in front of volunteers & fellow vendors. I would have removed the situation from my booth had I not been sitting while holding my sleeping son.

We can be honest without humiliating people. We can dislike something without tearing apart the person who made it. You never really know what someone is carrying behind the smile at their booth.

Local businesses do not survive because they’re perfect which I certainly don't pretend to be. They survive because communities choose kindness, respect, patience, honesty, and grace alongside accountability.

I’ll always keep showing up and doing my best. I just hope we can continue building spaces where people treat each other like human beings first.

To the customer who heard every word, had a jaded experience & interaction with me & still bought my products- I'm so sorry but thank you and I hope you enjoy and come back!

To the customers yesterday who sent follow-up pictures, videos and texts of thanks and positive feedback: I sincerely thank you 😊 I definitely needed the encouragement!
