Well, hello Monday morning. 😂
Apparently there was a little conversation about Coastal Bay in the town group this morning. The post has since been removed, but after reading it, I’m choosing to take it as a compliment.
Someone sees potential here and thinks Coastal Bay could be even more. I think that’s a pretty nice compliment. And believe me, I see it too.
The funny part is, growing is exactly what we’ve been doing.
Over the years, Coastal Bay has become so much more than where we started. We created Bay Bowls, our açaí and smoothie bowl line, and added breakfast, waffle bowls, bagels, protein options and more of our little café style menu.
We created Bay Blooms, planted a flower garden and opened the space for showers, parties and gatherings.
And I still have so many ideas.
I want Coastal Bay to be a little place in our community where you can grab something to eat, pick some flowers, sit outside with your people and stay awhile.
That has always been the vision. Not to turn Coastal Bay into something completely different, but to keep growing it.
And listen, have y’all met my daily tea customers? 😂 If I announced tomorrow that we were quitting teas and becoming a coffee shop, I’m pretty sure that is when we’d see an actual petition.
I absolutely listen to our customers. Some of our best ideas have started in conversations right across the counter.
So yes, keep giving me ideas. I’m always listening.
But I don’t think Coastal Bay needs to become a coffee shop to reach its potential.
I think we’re still busy becoming Coastal Bay. 🤍

Oh, and for the record… we do make a pretty incredible mushroom coffee. 😄☕️
