Look at these ridiculous little beauties.

Hand-dipped apples layered with caramel and chocolate, finished with white chocolate, chopped pistachios or nuts of your choosing, and tied up with twine because we’re apparently fancy now.

Decadent. Messy. Completely over the top. And absolutely worth every bite.

Some say it’s pumpkin season. Around here, we say it’s apple season.

Because if Louisiana insists on serving up Summer through September & October, we'll just have to bake our way into Fall.

To celebrate the eventual cooler weather, I’m bringing back two Fall classics with very serious upgrades.

Classic Candied Apples:

There’s something deeply satisfying about watching sourdough dough come to life.

Soft. Bubbly. Elastic. Jiggly. And quietly doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.

No fancy tricks. No dough gymnastics. Just good flour, good fermentation, a little patience, and knowing when to leave the dough alone.

This is the part of bread baking I never get tired of watching.

Hey y’all!

I’m adding a couple of things to the menu!

Kaiser Rolls — $3 each
Soft, golden, beautifully shaped rolls available in sesame or poppy seed. Perfect for burgers, sandwiches, po-boys… basically anything that deserves a really good roll.

Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk & Toasted Walnut Cookies — $24/dozen
Big, chewy cookies made with brown butter, chocolate chunks, toasted walnuts, and a little flaky sea salt.

And before anyone asks: NO, I am not baking these today. Your girl is baked OUT. These are simply being added to the lineup for upcoming orders.

Oh, and one more little thing . . .
