From a Pop-Up Tent to a Mobile Dream: A Journey of Pure Faith 🙌🏾✨

It’s amazing what can happen when you mix a little passion with a whole lot of hustle and an abundance of God’s grace. Looking back at that 2017 setup, I’m reminded of how far the vision has come. I started with a simple red tent, a prayer, and a table full of handcrafted sweets. Those early days in the park were the building blocks of Krystal’s Tasty Treats, a dream I first began building in 2012.

But the real test of my foundation came in 2021. After years of balancing my business with the security of a 9-to-5, I felt God calling me to something deeper. I knew that to see this dream reach its full potential, I had to stop giving it my “extra” time and start giving it my all.

Stepping out on faith and quitting my full-time job to pursue my business full-time was one of the scariest and most rewarding decisions of my life. It was the moment I stopped leaning on a paycheck and started leaning entirely on his promise. 5 years down and a lifetime to go!!

Looking at where we are now in 2026, operating our gourmet mobile bakery trailer and serving the Baton Rouge community with luxury treats, I see that God was just waiting for my “Yes.” He has opened doors that no man could shut and provided in ways I never thought possible. Whether it’s our signature cheesecake slices, gourmet cupcakes, or custom creations, every bite is a celebration of this 14-year walk of faith.

Thank you for being part of this story. To anyone standing on the edge of their own “leap” Trust him. When you pursue your purpose with a heart of service, he will order your steps every single time. 🥂🍰

We’re excited to announce that Krystal’s Tasty Treats will be a vendor at the I’m So Super Autism Awareness Event 2026! 💚🧩

But for us, this is more than just a vendor event… it’s something close to the heart. It’s about showing up, spreading love, raising awareness, and being part of something that truly matters.

To have been a part of something so beautiful and uplifting meant more to me than words can truly express. I feel so grateful and incredibly blessed to have experienced this moment, not just as a business owner, but as a person. Being able to connect, serve, and share what I love with so many amazing people filled my heart in a way I can’t explain.

God continues to show me that when you walk in your purpose and lead with love, he will place you exactly where you’re meant to be. 🙏🏽
