Well my dear friends, I am currently in the hospital (again) so unfortunately, I need to delay my opening tomorrow. Because I likely won't be home until late. I'm going to try to open at 11 if everything goes as planned. I apologize profusely but life happens unfortunately.

🚨 Confession Time 🚨

I swore I'd never jump on the viral dot cake trend.
Then some of my customers started asking for them.
Then more customers started asking for them....

And before I knew it, I was standing in my kitchen covering a cake with thousands of tiny sugar balls wondering how this became my life. 😂

Maybe I'm showing my age, but haven't we been eating cakes covered in sprinkles since the '80s?

Somewhere there's a grandma looking at these "viral dot cakes" thinking, "Honey, we've been making those for decades." 🤣

Let's be honest... ✔️ They take forever. ✔️ Sprinkles end up EVERYWHERE. ✔️ You'll be finding nonpareils in your shoes next week. ✔️ Half the cake ends up wearing more sprinkles than frosting.

But are they cute? Unfortunately, yes. Are they fun? Also yes. Did my customers convince me to make one? Absolutely. 😆

Whoever started calling an '80s sprinkle cake a "dot cake" deserves credit for the greatest rebrand in baking history.

So here it is, The Haven's official entry into the dot cake craze. Thanks to everyone who asked for one—you wore me down! 😂🍰

I had a special request for a four pack of cinnamon rolls today so of course I made an entire batch I have six extra four packs out in the Haven for $15 each today. They just came out of the oven a little bit ago so they're super fresh you guys are more than welcome to swing by and grab one
