It is with heavy hearts that we learned of the passing of our dear friend Eddie ().

We first met Eddie at the Bastrop Mardi Gras Festival in 2024, where he was walking around capturing footage for his YouTube channel. From that day on, he made a point to stop by and visit us whenever we were set up around Bastrop—whether at Eden East Farm or in front of Store House Market & Eatery.

Eddie always greeted us with a big smile and a story to share about his love of aquatics and fishkeeping. He would often joke that he had far too many aquariums, though it was clear how much joy they brought him.

Whenever he visited our booth, he never hesitated to tell customers how much he loved our apple butter and Anzac cookies. More often than not, he’d purchase some simply to give away to others. His kindness, generosity, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting small businesses were just a few of the many things that made him so special.

We always looked forward to catching up with him, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Please keep Eddie’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. ❤️

This past weekend we stopped by our favorite to introduce the newest addition to our little farm fam. 🥹🌱 Seeing all the summer crops making their way in has us so excited for cucumber, pepper, and tomato season ahead!

We’re still settling into life with our newborn, soaking in all the sweet moments, but we’re getting eager to return to markets soon. Stay tuned for our comeback!🥰

In case you’ve been missing us at the markets—Anthony and I are overjoyed to share that we’ve welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world. She arrived on Good Friday, April 3rd and is already so deeply loved. Truly, she’s the piece we didn’t even realize was missing. 🌷

We’re taking some time to soak up all the newborn snuggles, so thank you for your patience with us.

We can’t wait to see you all again soon. ♥️

Bringing some new kitchen favorites to the market!

Come out and try our sourdough English muffins — crispy, chewy, and fluffy all at the same time. Perfect for breakfast sandwiches or simply toasted with butter.

And if you haven’t tried a New York–style cookie, you’re seriously missing out. Thick, rich, warm, and gooey on the inside with that perfect crisp crunch on the outside. By far my new favorite way to enjoy a chocolate chip cookie! 🍪

We’ll be at market with all your favorite fresh baked goods plus our special heart-shaped pop-tarts, filled with homemade strawberry jam and finished with a strawberry sugar.🍓

Mexican rice was one of the very first recipes I learned from my mamacita. I was barely tall enough to reach the stove, and I was always in awe of how perfectly she made this staple week after week. Now you can bring that same tradition to your own family—I promise they’ll love it.

It’s Wednesday Market Day! ✨
In case you missed it, we’ve added Wednesdays to our weekly markets before baby arrives. Come see us today ! The farmstand is overflowing with fresh veggies, and our table is full of all your favorites—pillowy brioche and sourdough focaccia, just waiting to be slathered with ’s small-batch orange and grapefruit jams.

The kitchen feels different these days.
As we enter the homestretch of our pregnancy, everything has begun to slow and soften. We’re leaning into experimentation, into change, into preparing space for the new life about to join us.

We’re learning to nurture our kitchen the same way we’re learning to nurture our baby — gently, patiently, and with intention.

That’s meant diving into all the sourdough recipes I never had time for before. While you can now find our sourdough focaccia at markets, everything else coming out of the oven right now is simply part of the journey — little experiments in this quiet, in-between season.♥️

This past weekend we were wrapped in so much love by our family and closest friends back in our hometown as we prepare to welcome our baby girl.🎀

It also gave me the sweetest opportunity to make her very first cake — a moist strawberry cake with buttercream and homemade strawberry macarons on top. 🥹 A tiny taste of all the birthday cakes and treats I can’t wait to make for her in the years to come.

Our hearts are so full, and we’ve been feeling incredibly blessed during this special season. 💕
