We currently have 6 bottle calves! Any takers 🤪

630am and 630pm is when we feed. 😇

Headed out to tag the new calves. 4 of the 6 are all black so keeping them straight isn't easy!

All cheese names (except Dave)
Yellow are bull calves (soon to be steer)
White are heifer calves

The milk fridge is full and vanilla yogurt will be restocked tomorrow morning just in time for the weekend!

We have a lot of new followers/customers so I'm sharing my post about our yogurt.

We all love the sunshine but I'm enjoying today's rain. Washing my van while running errands. If you live on a gravel road you understand. 😊

The family is gone tonight but I'm not alone while milking. These two are patiently waiting for their bit of milk.

A week with no rain!

It's been go go go, here this week with no rain. The roof on the house and garage is officially finished. The potholes (craters) in the driveway have been filled in! My 12 year old has taken this task on and keeps topping them off 😄. The kids almost have the entire pig pen dismantled (we're are moving it and making it bigger for next springs pigs!)
School work still gets done, wood is being split and stacked for the winter.

Cows are happy out on their fall pasture but you can tell it's not providing enough for them, we've been feeding them more hay as the growing season crawls to an end.
Maeven has been keeping everyone in milk! Right now she is averaging 4.5gal twice a day.
We ordered a few replacement steer calves to raise out for beef with Dave the calf and we plan on getting a few more in March to raise with Flora's calf thats due in the spring.

If you ever wonder how our cows are raised...

Are you a current customer? Help me get the word out (the book of faces makes it hard when dealing with products made from animals).

Free gallon of milk if you share this post and it turns into a new customer!

I know there are customers out there, I just need to get the word out.

Thank you!
