We’re just a couple of weeks away from closing enrollment for our once-a-year Summer Baking & Cooking Camp! ☀️🧁🍳
Not to toot my own horn, but every single year the kids leave not only super happy, but also more confident, independent, and incredibly proud of the baking and cooking skills they’ve learned. Along the way, they also learn one of the most important kitchen habits — how to keep their workspace clean and organized!
Each child makes their own portion of every recipe. Some may find it challenging, while others may think it’s pure fun — but by the end of camp, every child brings home something special: their creativity, confidence, and delicious treats for the whole family to enjoy.
One thing I strongly believe in is teaching children to use sugar responsibly. With overconsumption of sugar being such a common challenge today, I focus on helping kids understand balance, use clean and simple ingredients, and learn how to bake for flavor and taste — not just blindly follow recipes.
