Been working on adding layered cakes into my baking repertoire and today I had the privilege of making the birthday treats for a friend’s little boy’s first birthday!!! I think it turned out so cute!!! Cake is alternating layers of Quadruple Chocolate and French Vanilla Cake with Chocolate Buttercream between and finished off with Cream Cheese Icing. Coordinating smash cake is two layers of French Vanilla cake and Cream Cheese Icing.

Totally forgot to take pictures before cutting 🤦🏻‍♀️…but anyways this was my first attempt at a marbled cake and it looked pretty good (I do want to get some better gel coloring for more vibrant colors). This patriotic Vanilla White Chocolate Bundt cake and USA shaped sprinkle sugar cookies were made for our homeschool end of year celebration…our theme this year was American History! 🇺🇸
