We regret to inform you that after much consideration, we are closing Blue Caboose Bakery.

Our schedules have kept us so busy that we are unable to devote the time needed for the bakery to remain successful. We wish we had more time in the day!

A huge and heartfelt "Thank You" to everyone for your support over the past three years. We have loved getting to know so many of our amazing customers and feel privileged to have played a part in your special occasions!

May your life, and macaronage, be perfectly mixed this week :)

Macarons are known for being finicky, but having the perfect macaronage makes it much easier. This process removes the largest bubbles from the meringue and leaves the smaller ones intact. Mixing the macaron batter the ideal amount will guarantee that the batter flows in a slow, wide stream for about 10 seconds. Whew! The last two weeks have kept us and our ovens busy! Thank you so much for coming out and shopping with us. We are lucky to be able to set up at these awesome local festivals.

Now, we're going to take a day to rest 😄😴 before getting back to the baking.

No Olde Tyme Apple Festival is complete without grabbing our favorites! Soil & Soap and Mini Kraken Farm are both owned by some of the nicest and most knowledgeable ladies around. We highly recommend stopping by their booths for a visit!

And of course, kettle corn and curly fries.

October 1st is International Coffee Day!

We sure love a nice cup first thing in the morning to start our day. Which option would you rather have paired with your morning cup - a cinnamon roll or a scone?

Well, either way you're in luck - we'll have both available this weekend at the Fall Festival with Gabrielle’s Garden, and the Apple Festival with the Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce.
