Legend has it my Roma tomatoes will eventually turn red. I’m starting to think they’re just holding out out of pure spite at this point! 🍅😂
I check on them multiple times a day like a mother bird, just waiting for the slightest blush.
The garden basil is thriving, the starter is fed, and the oven is ready! now if these tomatoes could just get it together so we can make this organic sun-dried tomato basil loaf, that’d be great! 🍅🌿🍞

If you’re playing the "stare at the green tomatoes" game with me, here’s a game-changer:
‼️You don’t actually have to wait for them to turn entirely red on the vine! Pick them as soon as they show their first "blush" of color (the breaker stage).
🕑 Once they reach this stage, the stem seals off nutrition from the plant anyway. Bringing them inside to finish ripening on your kitchen counter protects your organic harvest from pests, heavy rains, or cracking! 🍅🧺
