**IMPORTANT UPDATE**
After much consideration, I've decided the time is right to look for the next owners of this magnificent historic property. I have loved this 1881 Italianate for over 7 years, opening Bella Vita cafe in 2019.. and later living in the house with my family when the cafe moved into the converted carriage house.
The Baraboo community welcomed Bella Vita with open arms, and the love and support you have all shown over the years has been amazing! I am so incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to work along side so many talented people. And so grateful for the chance to meet and get to know all of YOU every time you walked through the front door!💕
Over the years I've had many people ask if I would ever consider selling.. and my answer was always a hard NO. But now with life transitions and moving to Washington last fall, I feel it's time to say "Yes". I am hopeful someone will want to continue on with the cafe, as I would love to pass Bella Vita on to the next creative entrepreneur and have them take it to the next level.
We'll be open regular hours over the next 2 weeks, and I will update about hours again after the 23rd. If you have any gift cards, please use them soon. And come in to get your fill of quiche, morning buns, croissants, scones, and cookies.
Please feel free to share this post and help spread the word. Maybe someone who has always wanted to own a cafe (and/or wine bar?) and live on-site in a gorgeous, historic home will see it and jump at this fantastic opportunity!
With SO much love and endless gratitude,
Karen
