Our Thanksgiving menu is LIVE and ready for your orders! From our scratch-made pies to all the sweet treats that make your holiday table a little more special, we’ve got dessert covered so you can focus on the turkey, the sides, and spending time with the people you love.

Everything is made from scratch, using real ingredients, and baked with the same love and care that goes into everything we make here at Leah’s Cakery.

🥧 A little friendly reminder: We highly recommend placing your orders early for the best selection! Thanksgiving is one of our busiest holidays, and once our baking schedule fills up, that’s it!

Whether you’re hosting the whole family, bringing dessert to someone else’s table, or just making sure there’s enough pie left over for breakfast the next morning (my personal favorite!), we’re here to make your Thanksgiving a little sweeter.

Another fun night in the kitchen classroom at Leah’s Cakery! 🍪
Last night we welcomed our Cookie of the Month Baking Club back into the kitchen for our October session, and we had a great time whipping up some fall-inspired deliciousness!
On the menu were Soft Pumpkin Cookies with Brown Sugar Frosting and Pumpkin Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies. Two delicious recipes that are perfect for fall baking!
Our Cookie of the Month Baking Club is a hands-on baking experience where we teach you all the steps to creating delicious, homemade cookies from scratch. From mixing the dough and learning proper baking techniques to scooping, baking, and adding those finishing touches, YOU do the baking!
Everyone mixed up their own dough, baked their cookies, and frosted them before packing up their freshly baked goodies to take home and share with friends and family. Of course, we won’t judge if a few never made it home! 😉
We love seeing everyone roll up their sleeves, learn something new, share a few laughs, and enjoy some time together in our kitchen. That’s what these classes are all about!
Want to join the club? Our next Cookie of the Month Baking Club is December 1st, and we still have a few seats available! We’ll be getting into the holiday baking spirit, learning how to turn one dough into three different festive cookies. Just in time to add a few new recipes to your holiday baking traditions!

October vibes are getting STRONG around here, and we are fully embracing all the cozy, pumpkin-spiced, cinnamon-swirled deliciousness that comes with fall!
From these adorable little candy corn and jack-o’-lantern sugar cookies to our cases packed with autumn-inspired goodies, we are making the most of our favorite baking season!
Our fall lineup is bringing all the good stuff:
🎃 Pumpkin Cinnamon Buns – Our October bun of the month, rolled with real pumpkin purée and warm fall spices, finished with a sweet cream pumpkin spice glaze.
🍂 Pumpkin Bites – Those irresistible little cinnamon-sugar-coated nuggets of pumpkin happiness.
🍰 October Featured Cakes & Cupcakes – Pumpkin Spice Latte, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Black Forest, Snickerdoodle Cream, and more!

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Carrie Woerner for a Kitchen Table Conversation with Carrie segment and talk about something that is very close to me—the realities of owning and operating a small business right now.
We talked about some of the challenges small businesses are facing, what it takes to keep moving forward, and why it matters to have representatives who are willing to listen to the people actually doing this work every day.
I stand behind Carrie as she runs for reelection to the State Assembly. She has the experience, she understands the communities she represents, and I trust her to listen, ask questions, and bring the voices of her constituents with her to Albany.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to have an open conversation about small business and to have our experiences heard.

I am also grateful for Carrie’s brownies! Pictured on the cake stand is some of her delicious home baked brownies that she shared with me, and they were delicious!

PIE FOR BREAKFAST.
If you’ve been around here for a while, you know how much I adore pumpkin pie. And I will stand firmly behind the belief that pumpkin pie for breakfast is one of life’s little luxuries.
And really… it’s basically a balanced breakfast.
Pumpkin? Vegetable.
Eggs? Protein.
Milk? Dairy.
Pie crust? Grains.
Whipped cream? Emotional support.
Vitamins. Minerals. Happiness. We’ve covered all the major food groups.
So go ahead. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, cut a generous slice of pumpkin pie, and call it breakfast. I certainly won’t judge you, I’ll probably be doing the exact same thing.
