I visited Charleston for the first time a couple of months ago and fell in love with this beautiful city. The history, beautiful homes, and did I mention the FOOD!! There are so many amazing restaurants and is definitely a foodie’s paradise!

The Peninsula Grill is famous for their ”Ultimate Coconut Cake,” so of course I had to try it! Despite its shocking price tag ($16 per slice and $130 per whole cake🫢), it was some of the best cake I’ve had! This week, I tried to make a copy cat. I had to tweak it some, and this is what I came up with!

4 cake layers with cream filling in between each layer. Cream cheese frosting with toasted coconut on the outside!

I’ll be selling it by the slice this week for $6/slice. I hope you’ll try it out!
