Egg prices finally got way crazy here! Are you worried about having eggs to decorate for Easter? I'm offering a class to show you how to start collecting from what you are currently using so you have plenty for Easter! I will also share with you my 10 year secret on how to make them edible! (It's ok to be confused. You'll understand later 😉) And some fun ones.

Being an at home baker, I will tell you my prices will be higher than Costco and any bakery around town. I don't get bulk discount. BUT, totally worth it!!!
P.S. Personal pies can come in pumpkin, apple, and pecan.
P.P.S. I can make them any time (mostly). All can go in the freezer for later dates.

Sharing a recipe today. Well, my translation of one. Not too often do I keep a recipe the same as it tells me. Nobody tells me what to do! Not even a box. 😆 Call me recipe doctor lol.

So this is basic Rice Krispys treats. My changes to this recipe are:

Regarding the butter. I like real butter for most baking. This recipe really needs lot of that better flavor to taste good. So I do 2 tbls of real butter and 2 tbls of Country Crock. Yes, I add a tablespoon. You'll see why.

Next, I use 5 cups of marshmallow because 4 isn't enough. (Also why I added butter).

Regarding marshmallows: if you are unable to find the Jet Puff brand, do what you have to do. Downside is the cheap ones really don't have much flavor. So after you have the butter and marshmallows melted, add a half teaspoon of REAL VANILLA. If you use the fake kind, there are no promises. 😆

And when it's time to put in the pan, coat the pan with butter for a little added flavor and not cooking spray. At this point using a spray or olive oil isn't going to save you any calories. 😆

I don't promote not having any cookies. 😆 BUT, if I had to choose, I personally would pick frosted sugar cookie. The one shown in a pic is a soft cookie with soft frosting and they are you set for my liking. But for some, it's the best! Don't get me wrong, they taste good, just too sweet for me.

Last week I made this amazing decadent chocolate cheesecake. It tasted just like a chocolate truffle. Dense, rich, but not overly sweet.
