So, it's been a while, life sure does come at you fast the older you get... Goodness, pretty sure I may have wind burn from this year.
Have a question...... Do you have any 'fond' memories of toasted cheese sandwiches made with Velveeta? Maybe a good queso dip? In a super quick mac and cheese, or baked for the way it melts so nicely?
I have 'cracked the code'. For kicks and giggles, I am a recipe that people were raving about on one of my pages, and I was shocked how much it tastes, looks, feel and melts just like the 'safe from a nuclear bomb explosion, shelf life of untold decades original. Too funny.......... Doug hates it, he had a deprived childhood methinks ;)
Also, this is my next adventure, I've seen a lot of talk about doing a straight swap between cream cheese and Chevre in baking. Well, the good Lord knows I have plenty, and can make lots more, so why not? Though, I am going to look for a different recipe (this was the one posted) I am not a big fan of crescent rolls in a can...... Hope you are all doing well, and if you want cheese, please give me a holler
P.S. If you are game to try the Velveeta like stuff, let me know.....Sometimes comfort foods from childhood are exactly what you need, only better ;) 😁
