Two plates. Two optics. Two completely different parts.

At first glance they look nearly identical.

They’re not.

Each of our G***k Gen 6 match-fit adapter plates is individually measured and machined for the specific slide and optic it will live on. Every plate receives the optics serial number and engraving of the slides dimensions because each one is unique.

Manufacturing tolerances exist in both slides and optics. Rather than designing around those variations with extra clearance, we machine each plate to account for them.

The result is the tightest interface we know how to produce.

It’s a slower process.
It’s more work.
But when reliability is the goal, we believe the details are worth it.

Additional corrosion protection—without refinishing your entire slide.

One of the optional services we offer is Cerakoting just the optic pocket.

The primary benefit isn’t appearance—it’s the long-term corrosion protection it provides to the freshly machined pocket.

We primarily recommend this upgrade for carbon steel slides, where it protects the newly machined surface while allowing you to retain the often superior factory finish on the rest of the slide.

For stainless steel slides, however, we typically don’t recommend pocket coating. Stainless steel already offers excellent corrosion resistance, and we generally believe that your money is better spent elsewhere.

Our goal has never been to sell every available option—it’s to recommend what we genuinely believe is best for your specific slide.

One of the questions we get asked most is, “Why don’t you make adapter plates for more platforms?”

It’s a fair question.

The answer is simple: we’re a small shop, and we have to be intentional about what we take on.

Every new product requires design, testing, manufacturing, and years of support. Our G***k Gen 6 match fit adapter plates started as a passion project—something we believed in. When it became clear there was real demand, we brought them into production.

Every product we release has to solve a real problem and meet the engineering standards we’d expect on our own fi****ms. If we can’t confidently make it better, we’d rather focus our time and energy elsewhere.

Could we make more plates? Sure.

Will we? Probably—but only when we can do it the right way.

We’d rather be known for doing a handful of things exceptionally well than offering everything just because we can.

Thank you for supporting a small shop that puts quality before quantity.

The future of pistol optics isn’t stronger screws.

It’s better engineering.

The Aimpoint A-CUT is a great example of that.

One of the biggest challenges with factory optic-ready pistols has always been manufacturing tolerance stack-up. The slide and optic can both be manufactured perfectly within specification, yet the combined tolerances between the two can still allow unwanted movement.

Rather than accepting those variances, Aimpoint redesigned the interface itself. The A-CUT mechanically locks the optic into the slide, minimizing the effects of manufacturing tolerance stack-up and creating a robust mounting system.

At Nameless Armament, we’ve always believed in solving that same problem—but from a different direction.

Instead of redesigning the interface, we machine every optic cut specifically to the customer’s individual slide and their individual optic. By match-fitting each pair together, we minimize the clearance that universal footprints must accommodate, creating an interface tailored to that exact combination.

The best mounting system isn’t the one with the strongest screws—it’s the one that gives the screws the least amount of work to do.

Different engineering philosophies.

One common objective.

A secure optic that stays exactly where it was designed to stay.

We’re genuinely excited to see companies pushing optic mounting technology forward. Whether that’s through innovative interface design like the A-CUT or through precision match-fit machining, every advancement moves our industry in the right direction.

Because at the end of the day, good engineering isn’t about proving someone else wrong. It’s about solving the problem.

What direction do you think the future of pistol optics is headed?
