I always hate making announcements like these.

The number one consumable in our shop is carbide tooling. We are committed to using carbide tools manufactured here in the United States for quality, consistency, and many other reasons. Unfortunately, over the past year alone, our tooling costs have nearly doubled. While this isn’t the only expense that has increased, it has been one of the most significant.

We’ve done everything we can to absorb these costs and avoid passing them on to our customers. We hoped tooling and material prices would come back down, but that simply hasn’t been the case.

Because of this, we will soon need to make a modest pricing adjustment in order to continue operating and providing the level of quality our customers expect. I never enjoy doing this, especially knowing that many people are feeling financial pressure right now. As always, quality comes first, and we will keep any increase as small as possible. If costs decrease in the future, we will gladly reevaluate our pricing.

We can’t thank you enough for your support and business over the past eight years. Your trust in us has allowed Nameless Armament to grow, and we look forward to serving you for many years to come.

We can’t save all of them, but this one was able to make it out ok ☺️

A lot of our customers have asked us about porting for years. While I can’t say a whole lot, it’s in development ☺️.

If you were wondering about this little step in the pad of our ACRO cuts then here’s why: we have observed dimensional variations in the dovetail interface on ACRO’s that can prevent the optic from sitting flat and level when mounted. The step we machine on the pad provides the clearance needed for the optic to seat properly.

Still one of my favorite things 😂

Quick visual on one of our “cutaway” standard G***k slides as to why we place the ACRO where we do. The back wall of the pocket is as far back as we machine an optic pocket as to not compromise the strength of the iron sight dovetail. Even with the ACRO moved this far back you can see it extends over the striker safety bore.

While you can mount the ACRO shallower so it sits above the top of the striker safety bore, we feel the additional depth and support from mounting the optic deeper is important. This is why we move the optic back and eliminate the factory dovetail 👍🏻

There can be some confusion around forward dovetails and iron sights (we see this quite a bit). Hopefully this helps ☺️
