Some goodbyes hit a little harder than othersโ€ฆ

Tomorrow weโ€™re saying see you later to my daughter, McKenzie. ๐Ÿ’•

When I needed help the most two years ago, she stepped in without hesitation. Since then, weโ€™ve shared countless early mornings, busy days, lots of laughs, and memories Iโ€™ll cherish forever.

Now, letโ€™s be honestโ€ฆ she hated those 5:30 a.m. mornings, dreaded working Saturdays, couldnโ€™t wait to get home for a nap, and was famous for leaving me a half-eaten bagel from the day before to find the next morning. And if there was a job she didnโ€™t want to do, her favorite phrase was always, โ€œIโ€™ll leave that for Mom to do.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚

But behind all of that was someone who was always there when I needed her.

Now itโ€™s time for her to follow the career sheโ€™s worked so hard for and do what she truly lovesโ€”teaching. While Iโ€™m sad to see her leave The Bagel Bar, Iโ€™m even more proud of the amazing woman sheโ€™s become.

Iโ€™ll miss having my daughter by my side every day, but I canโ€™t wait to watch her make a difference in the lives of so many students.

Congratulations, McKenzie. Go change the world. We love you, and The Bagel Bar will always be cheering you on. โค๏ธ๐ŸŽ
