Hidden in the heart of Austin, TX, owners Shawn & Jess are a chef & sommelier team who are married, with two little ones named Bobby and Alice. They are driven, personally and professionally – and have made it their lifework for the past decade to work in restaurants all over the U.S serving guests and building strong teams of hospitality-minded folks. They have learned from many talented and resp

ected mentors and have flown under the radar in-order-to build the concepts of others, but are ready to breakout on their own and make their dream a reality! La Pâtisserie’s macarons have developed a cult following in Austin and are shipped nationally, and our treats have dominated the Austin Chocolate Festival in categories including “Best Cookie”, “Best Fudge”, “Best Brownie”, and “Best Dessert”. At La Pâtisserie, we are committed to crafting only the finest desserts from scratch, which starts with using only the finest ingredients, such as King Arthur flour and Callebaut Belgian chocolate. Nothing in our case takes less than three days to process and prepare - you can truly taste the passion, care, and Parisian magic in each treat. We believe in supporting local, giving back to the community, & creating a business that is a staple in our neighborhood. We believe in the tradition of our craft, in the Chefs and Artisans who have mentored us and paying that mentorship forward to others who want to learn. We believe in investing in individuals that work with us and we believe in the honesty and beauty of delicious food, prepared with butter, love and hard work.
