For those who don’t know, I started a project last year where families who have experience pregnancy and infant loss are able to order a 6” birthday cake, completely free of charge, to celebrate the due date or birthday of their angel baby. I will be continuing this project until we leave Fort Cavazos (Hood) and hopefully once we’re settled in our new home in North Carolina 🤍

Pregnancy loss is something that my husband and I have struggled with and I’ve always said that I wanted to use my business to help give back in whatever ways I can. This project is more than just celebrating the lives of our angels, but also to help break the stigma of silence that surrounds pregnancy and infant loss. Being 1 in 4 is a devastating statistic to be a part of. I desperately wish I wasn’t part of it. But if talking about my pain and losses helps even one woman feel like she isn’t alone, then I will always be willing to share my story 🤍👼🏼

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted! For those who don’t know, I’ve spent the last 6 months working in the car industry while also continuing to bake on the side! Long hours at the dealership means less time to bake which means less pictures to post. However, I am still baking and taking orders! While I’m not currently offering anything with fondant or decorated sugar cookies, I do still have time for cupcakes, cookies, simples cakes, etc! Thank you to everyone who has continued to support me through my career change and I look forward to another year of The Cookie Bar!

🤍 Today is a hard day for a lot of people, including my family. For those who don’t know, my husband and I suffered from a miscarriage earlier this year. Losing our baby was one of the most painful experiences of my life. So, I’d like to do something to honor both my baby and the babies of other women and families who have been through similar experiences.
🤍 From this day forward, I’d like to offer free 6” birthday cakes to celebrate the due dates of any babies who lived longer in our hearts than they did on earth.
🤍 I will also be researching organizations that are based around child loss and infertility, and will be donating a portion of all further orders. Suggestions for organizations are always welcome!
