I was walking back to the house from the bakery and I caught a whiff of myself on the breeze…now that sounds portentous doesn’t it…but fear not…I quickly identified the aromas as those of sugar and butter…vanilla…and cookies. Then just as suddenly an old favorite sing song rhyme came to mind…One I hadn’t thought of in years…”What are little boys made of…snakes and snails and puppy dog tails that’s what little boys are made of… What are little girls made of…sugar and spice and everything nice that’s what little girls are made of..” was the gist of it. When I was a small child I didn’t really understand the meaning…except that the boys got all the yucky stuff.
When I became a mom resting my face on the top of my babies silky heads…I can’t say exactly that they smelled of sugar and spice but more like enchantment and mystery and dreams…
As a grown woman…strolling across my wintry lawn…late at night…I like that even though I’m way past being a little girl…I’ve finally become the rhyme. Merry Merry Christmas my lovelies…May you and your families be Blessed.🕊🕯️🎄

Good morning my peeps~some exciting news I hope for you….Hillsong Bakery is partnering with Melissa Manley…creator former owner of M’s Eatery…to reopen Parc Cafe…beginning December 5th…Monday~Saturday…7:00am~12:00pm. As such…whilst getting our sea legs…if you will…we will not be present at the Farmers Market thru the month of December…nor will we be taking preorders outside of yeast rolls at this time. Pm me or come into the Cafe to order directly if you are interested in the rolls. We will have many of your favorite breads and pastries in the pastry case within Parc Cafe for you to pick up thru the week instead of just Saturdays. We hope to see you there!!👩🏻‍🍳👨🏼‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳♥️💋

Good Monday Morning All~due to the volume of orders we need to fill this week…we will not be taking any preorders. Everyone who has ordered with us and is doing a PICKUP please be at the Maysville Brewery parking lot at 4:00pm on Wednesday. Our main delivery vehicle went down Saturday night so we are hoping all runs smoothly as Marc and Henry will be tag teaming with one vehicle to do the deliveries.
