Thursday and Friday of each week we will offer a carry-out only menu. Today is our last day being open for thursday and Fridays until the holidays. Today's menu is the same as yesterday other than we have vegetable beef soup also. We're here one last we're here 1 last week before I start my new job.. I'm beginning to get a little nervous. I will definitely be out of my element but my boys reassure me I can easily do the job. Today at simply sweet we are serving club panini, ham and asparagus panini, turkey bacon panini, or chicken salad on a croissant. Soups are chicken and noodles or cold strawberry soup. Just wanted to let everyone know that we WILL be open yet this week. Next week I start at West Central during the harvest season. If you want one last chance to eat our homemade food this is your last chance until the holidays. Check back tomorrow for this week's menu.

I hope we aren't being a big inconvenience for all of you but Simply Sweet will not be open this week. Since Shandy has a new job cooking for all the kids at the school I have decided to take a couple of months off. I will be working at West Central in the scale house. I just need a different change of pace. We do plan on being open again for the holidays so you can enjoy your Christmas get togethers with your friends. We will still be doing our special things such as cakes and catering and such. If the harvest is delayed we might decide to continue for a couple more weeks but when I get the call from West Central I will be starting a new adventure. This is just for the harvest. Please keep alert for my messages from here so you know if we are open next week. With this rain I'm sure harvest will be set back a few more days. Call me if you have any questions. 712-304-0203.

What a nice calm morning. Today at simply sweet our menu will be a repeat of yesterday so if you look at the post from yesterday you know what your options are. I'm trying to take care of my oldest granddaughter who had her tonsils out on Monday and it hasn't been going really good so we're kind of taking the easy route today hope everyone is understanding.
