Piece of Cake

By now I'm sure you've seen at least some of my work, so let me begin by explaining to you how it is I have become "Piece of Cake". A mother of two, I have always found the kitchen to be quite comforting & absolutely loved baking and trying new recipes for my kids & family. When my oldest daughter Morgan went away to college in 2014 - I found myself suffering with empty nest syndrome (to say the l

east) so I enrolled in a local cake decorating class to occupy some of my time and I found my true passion. Suddenly I wanted to learn beyond the class & I started teaching myself all of the in's and out's of the cake business! After numerous re‐do's, cakes on the floor, tears, and bottles of wine, I started to visibly see a consistent improvement in my skills. In 2017, I was reunited with an amazing man Mark (my fiancé) who equally shares in all of the work involved at Piece of Cake. We started creating monthly Cake Bomb Boxes (dz cake Bombs) and Cocoa Bombs and have expanded our variety of flavors & selections. We offer wedding, baby shower, birthday & holiday Bombs & favors. We feel so blessed for all of the love and support that we have received over the years & enjoy every minute spent together making custom cakes, cupcakes, cake pops & Bombs!
