At the risk of sounding like a crazy old lady, we could probably use the rain. But it would be nice if it rain during the week or at night and not on the weekend right? But here we are. I am open today until one. I have chocolate chip scones and muffins, blueberry lemon scones and muffins, cranberry orange scones and muffins, banana nut muffins, cinnamon rolls, cinnamon roll cookies, fudge filled cookie bars, and all of the regular cookies are in the case as well ! For the short term, I will not have maple brown sugar cookies, but I do have s’mores in their place. See you all soon.!!!

It's cookie eve! I'll be at the bakery bright and early tomorrow to get some M&M cookies and more cinnamon roll cookies done. I'll also have new and improved blueberry lemon scones AND muffins, along with cranberry orange and chocolate chip, muffins and scones.. one batch of each kind. fudge filled bars, some cinnamon rolls and a few slices of cinnamon roll cheesecake. One more sleep till cookie day... open 8-1! See you soon!

This should NEVER go without saying... and anyone who knows me knows that even if something should go without saying, I'm probably gonna say it anyway so here goes... I truly have the BEST customers!! I made some great new cookie friends today who stopped in for the first time either by accident or by design for some treats... and so many of my regulars came in to try some of the new treats too! I appreciate all the feedback I get, both positive and constructive because let's be honest, I don't have to eat what I sell... so if there are ideas to make things better for those who are buying to enjoy, I am all ears! I also appreciate the patience of everyone who are really all my taste testers as I work to make things as perfect as I can... it's a process and I am so thankful for those choosing to be on the journey to perfection with me! Thank you all for filling my bakery with smiles and laughs and then filling your bellies with treats too. Enjoy the sunshine... and the rest of your weekend and I will see you next Saturday! 8 am to 1 pm!

Editing to add a quick note on the blueberry lemon scones. I am super happy with the flavor, but please know I am still experimenting on how to bake them enough without over baking them, without the dough being too wet after they’ve been packaged. Considering moving to dry to blueberries as opposed to the Wild Maine frozen blueberries I’ve been using which taste delicious but released too much moisture into the dough. Rest assured they are cooked through, but I think I need to switch it up and maybe work with dried blueberries to see if that helps with the texture. A dry scone is a travesty, but a wet scone is not much better even if it taste good ! But I promise I’ll get there.!! It is cookie day! I am open and the case is stocked. Oatmeal raisin are the only ones I’m out of and those are going in the oven soon. Here until one! See you soon.!! Happy Friday XL Cookie friends! Couple notes for today... First, and most importantly, I AM STILL OPEN AT 33 Columbus Street. There seems to be a lot of confusion especially lately with everyone seeing Rosa's Cookies videos and posts also out of the bakery space at 33 Columbus street and thinking I have closed, but please know, I am still open my regular hours, which is most Saturdays from 8 AM to 1 PM. Rosa's Cookies is sharing the space with me, but I am still open! I have been asked dozens of times over the past couple of weeks and rest assured, I am not going anywhere! Apologies to everyone who has been concerned! Y'all have helped me turn my baking hobby into my future, so I am here for the duration, to keep baking for you! andddd, on to the next order of business! I am open tomorrow, Saturday May 30th, from 8-1. I will have quite a bit of the new specialty lineup along with the usuals... blueberry lemon, chocolate chip, and cranberry orange scones, blueberry lemon, chocolate chip, and banana nut jumbo muffins, cinnamon roll cheesecake, and cinnamon rolls. I tried to make extra scones for this week since I had sad faces last week when they were sold out so quickly... but I can't guarantee that won't happen again so get out early my friends! Cookies will be stocked in the case too! See you all super soon! and thank you to everyone who has reached out... I appreciate you being concerned about my little spot of baking heaven at 33 Columbus St... it makes my cookie heart happy.

What to do on a gross soggy dreary Sunday but try out some new recipes for bakery options!! Today is a jumbo banana nut muffin with streusel topping day. First batch came out great except I think I overfilled the cups slightly, and the second batch I filled less, but came out just as big…. I think it’s a sign that these muffins are supposed to be huge! I can take a hint. As most of you know being open only one day a week requires everything I make to be able to be frozen 100% successfully with no loss of quality so into the deep freeze these go for a taste test late week to determine whether they will make an appearance at the bakery on Saturday! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! Rain rain go away….

An early morning edit ! I am already sold out of scones. I still have cinnamon rolls, muffins, and cheesecake for extras ! I will have more scones for next week! Happy Saturday morning! The rain is coming, but the cookies are already here! Extras today includes cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip and blueberry lemon scones, chocolate chip and blueberry lemon muffins, fudge filled cookie bars, and cinnamon roll cheesecake. I will be here until one! Be sure to take some time out of your weekend to remember the reason behind the parades and the barbecues. We always remember those who gave everything for our freedoms, not just on this Memorial Day weekend. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Thank you!

Happy Saturday! It’s been quite a whirlwind week! It’s Preakness Saturday, which is very exciting!! I am here until one! Today in the shop, I have the usual suspects that you will notice are arranged a little bit differently in the case. I needed to make more room for my extras so I had to do a little rearranging! Also today in the case, you will find jumbo chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip scones, all for a belated National Chocolate Chip Day, blueberry lemon scones, fudge filled cookie bars, fudge brownies, and in the cooler I have some cinnamon roll cheesecake, and the last three cinnamon rolls for the week. I’m still doing some experimenting with the scones using the same recipe, but forming them differently and glazing them differently to try to find what’s best so until I figure out what’s perfect they will change from week to week. I will never put out something that doesn’t taste good but as soon as the taste is there the time comes to perfect the look. All in the name of science! Same story with the muffins. I’m going to work on different kinds of muffins and you all will be my taste testers as an experiment along the way until the looks match the taste! One final note, if anyone is interested, I do have some raffle tickets to support the ladies auxiliary post 1107 Memorial Day raffle.
