As a general question, if it were to become an option someday, how many if you would like to have the option to pick up at the bakery on my open Saturdays?? I know that Auburn is more central to a lot of my walk-in business so it's just a thought that I would pursue if there is interest!

It’s time! I am open a little bit early because the cookies are ready to go. Baking throughout the day and making a delivery to Reese's Dairy Bar later on, so the ice cream geniuses over there can smoosh some Ultimate Sammies! Thank you for supporting small business! Stop into the bakery today and stock up your cookies for the week. I will be taking Labor Day off… and at this point in time, the only scheduling change aside from my offsite sales will be closing an hour early on October 3rd! So to recap, closed next Saturday, closed at the bakery, but selling offsite at Art In The Park on September 19th, closing an hour early at noon on October 3rd, and the first weekend of December will be selling at the college for their annual craft show. Any other scheduling changes around the holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas will be TBD. And since we are almost into September, I have started putting together my holiday Christmas offerings so stay tuned for that! Fall is coming my friend fall is coming.

I started baking as soon as I got in today and forgot to post that I was open! I am here until 1 PM! The weather is beautiful for now, so get out and enjoy it. Perfect day for some golf and a big thank you to the Aurelius fire department for cookie trays headed to their golf tournament today. I always appreciate the repeat business. Thoughts please! Aside from just crumbling them up and adding to a chocolate chip base, I am looking for some FANTASTIC suggestions to use up some of the Exploremore Girl Scout cookies in a recipe I can sell in the bakery! For reference, here is a description!

Exploremores are a rocky road ice cream–inspired sandwich cookie, filled with chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond-flavored crème.

Tick Tock friends... TICK TOCK! Not only is cookie day within sight, but I have been adding ideas to my notebook for the holidays already! More details to come, but I am planning on doing the usual holiday cookie trays for the Christmas holiday season, PLUS cinnamon rolls... take and bake! I know we still have awhile till summer comes to a close but just pretend its Christmas morning and you prance out of bed like a reindeer, and toss your proofed cinnamon rolls in the oven so they are hot and ready to frost for the kiddos when they wake up! Okay, now get back to summer... we have a few months left before we have to worry about Santa.. But I got really excited about the idea of doing these rolls... and hopefully there will be more ideas I can come up with for an even tastier holiday. Happy Wednesday... and I will see you all very soon for cookie day Saturday. Open 8-1! Few other quick notes and reminders. I will be closed September 5th for the Labor Day weekend.... I am not open at the shop September 19th, but will be selling from 10-4 at Art in the Park - Auburn, NY for one of my absolute favorite events each year and hopefully the last schedule change, I will be closing at noon on October 3rd and open a little earlier that day instead... open 7 am to noon. Still plenty of time to grab cookies for that week!

It’s the last reminder that today I will be attending this event and selling today from 9 AM to noon. Come check out the other great vendors.! I will be back at the bakery next Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM. Enjoy this beautiful weekend!

Hey cookie friends! My friend Renee is really jumping head-first into the deep end with her sourdough dream.... just like I did with cookies way back in the olden days! HA! All of you know how important the word-of-mouth advertising is for a small business, and it is SO appreciated, but totally understandable to be hesitant to recommend something you haven't tried, so here is the page, info, and way to preorder if you are a fan of sourdough breads and treats!

Blowout Day is here. Now that I see what I have, I’ve made a couple pricing changes. I have candy cookies, fudge, brownies, and peanut butter varieties of fudge brownies all for one dollar. Please note these were all experiments and although they are, I’m sure delicious they don’t look pretty! I also have nine cinnamon rolls and six cinnamon roll ups. Those are all two dollars along with all of the filled cookies. I have peanut butter filled Nutella filled and Oreo filled. Again, two dollars each and I have a small selection left of chocolate chip scones, white chocolate, cranberry scones, peanut butter, scones, and peanut butter jelly scones also all two dollars. And the case is filled with the normal cookies at the normal prices as well. Help me clean out my freezer!! it’s time to defrost and prepare for Art In The Park and the busy holiday season!! I am here until 1 PM today. See you soon.!!
