As everyone knows, spring and summer have us deep in the homesteading life. It’s pretty crazy over here, but I sure love being able to go out and pick fresh asparagus and rhubarb and then preserve it to eat throughout the year. I’m learning to love the little interruptions that come with the process. We also started letting our chickens free range and they are loving it. Grateful for this crazy, busy life.

I have 4 (half-sized) sourdough loaves available for purchase! They are $5 each. Two are Rosemary flavored, and the other two have garlic, parsley, and minced onion. Let me know if you would like to purchase one! The large loaf is already sold, just kept in the picture for size reference.

From the evaporator to jars… our first season tapping allllllll the maple trees on our property (actually, I think there are still more that haven’t been tapped). Just over 3 gallons so far (some not pictured from our first batch), and a few more to go! Wow! I have had almost zero responsibility in this process and it’s been so much fun to watch Timothy and the kids do it.

FINALLY 😭 I can finally say I’m happy with my artisan sourdough loaves. I also figured out sourdough focaccia (what it’s actually supposed to taste like/the consistency of it) and I am so excited. It’s the little things! Well, for me this is a BIG thing. I’ve been trying for what feels like forever! Thank you all for purchasing loaves and your business. It means so much.
