For every loaf sold this month, I'll donate a plain loaf to a local family or blessings box.

Yes, every 🥖 single 🍞 one.

Because groceries are weird, people deserve to eat, and bread is one of the few problems I can actually solve.

Buy a loaf and help me quietly commit acts of neighborhood care. Less discourse. More carbs.

Nobody can stop me from being aggressively helpful. I just can't afford to do it all by myself.
Every purchase puts another loaf into someone else's kitchen. People need food more than motivational speeches. 🖕

I believe in transparency and I'm annoyingly optimistic that people still care about helping each other. Sometimes I think we're all just waiting for someone else to go first.

A note from the human behind One Dough at a Time:

I have spent a long time refining my own boundaries around the people, organizations, and beliefs I choose to support with my time, energy, effort, and skills.

As a result, I will not be providing baked goods to people who support Donald Trump and what he represents.

This decision is not about party affiliation. I know good people across the political spectrum. This is an issue of morality, and I have reached a personal boundary I am no longer willing to cross.

I bake because I love people. I feed people because I believe community matters. I cannot separate that from my values, and I am no longer interested in spending my personal resources supporting things I believe are actively harming members of that community.

I am not a storefront. I am not a corporation. This is a personal project built by a person, and it needs to reflect the person behind it.

If this costs me customers, so be it. If it means less business, so be it. I would rather give my bread away than compromise on what I believe is basic human decency.

You do not have to agree with me. But this is where I stand.
