🐾💕 A Little Booth Refresh at Abandoned Antiques! 💕🐾

We’ve been doing a little rearranging, restocking, and sprucing up our space at Abandoned Antiques in Millington! 🛍️

As a small business owner, I’m learning as I go, and sometimes that means moving things around, trying new ideas, and figuring out what works best!

Our booth is now stocked with all kinds of goodies for your four-legged best friends! 🐶

I’ll be the first to admit that sales at this location have been a little slow so far, but I’m not giving up! ❤️ Building a small business takes time, patience, and a whole lot of trial and error. Every sale, every new customer, and every person who discovers Barks & Bites Bakery & Boutique means so much!

What a week it has been for Barks & Bites Bakery! 🐾💗

I didn’t sell out at Lightfoot Farm Market this time — and you know what? That’s okay! I still did fairly well, had such a good time, and met some AMAZING people along the way.

One of the best parts of these events is getting to connect with other small businesses. I had the sweetest ladies set up next to me from Goats on the Porch and absolutely loved getting to know them! 🐐💕 Be sure to check them out and give them a follow, too. Supporting other small businesses means so much!

I was also so happy to be able to donate a Barks & Bites basket to Friends of the Tipton County Animal Shelter— and how cool is this?! The winner ended up being a repeat customer who already buys my treats at Pooch Parlor! 🥹🐾 That seriously made my day.

I’m also WELL stocked over at Abandoned Antiques! I’m really hoping to keep building traffic there, get more people familiar with Barks & Bites, and continue reaching new customers in our community.

And once again, I have to brag on the wonderful people at Lightfoot Farms. They run such a clean, organized event, and everyone is always so friendly and helpful. More than that, they have played such a huge part in helping me come out of my comfort zone.

Being out in public, setting up, talking to strangers, promoting myself and my business — those are things I used to be genuinely afraid to do. Now I find myself looking forward to these events, making connections, supporting other small businesses, and working hard to make Barks & Bites a name people recognize in our community. ❤️

This week has been SO full of connections, encouragement, small-business support, and little reminders of why I started doing this in the first place.

And y’all… we are SOOOOO close to 500 followers that it’s INSANE! 🎉🐾

Well guys , things happen even when I’m not in town to do business physically! And I couldn’t be happier !

Got a call offering to let me move the location of my items to the front of the store at Abandoned Antiques and I was super excited! But I also didn’t want to miss the opportunity being away ! They were gracious enough to give me time and my son Tristan took time out of his busy schedule to take care of it for me this afternoon!

So now , I’ll be right there where you can see me right away !! Don’t stop there , though! Check out the rest of the amazing store after you get your puppy treats !! ❤️🐶
