Happy Birthday to my two BIG little girls!!! Their birthdays are a day apart, so they agreed to share a cake. One loves pink and the other loves purple, so this super girly cake had to be pink AND purple...and of COURSE we had to add some sprinkles - because why not?!! These girls are so special and I'm so thankful for them every single day!

I just dropped this off for a birthday party. I ran out of time to do any kind of borders or finishing touches, but I also kinda like the simplicity of leaving the cake a blank canvas for the flowers. What do you think? Would it be better with an elegant border or ruffles along the top and/or bottom or do you like it better as-is??

German Chocolate Cake...but make it fancy. Italian Meringue Chocolate Buttercream for the win - silky smooth, fluffy, and not overly sweet. I had fun finally trying out some vintage piping!

I would choose a piece of warm challah bread fresh from the oven with salted butter over a piece of cake any day! Truly one of my favorite things to eat.

Hellooooo red velvet!!! This cake was made with a classic Ermine frosting, which I like to use because it has less sugar than your typical American Buttercream.

Life has been so busy that I haven't had much time for cakes lately. I've got to get baking! What should I make next??
