I used to never charge a setup or cleanup fee because I thought it should just be included.
But over time, I realized I wasn’t just charging for the product—I was giving away my time.

For a long time, I’d come home exhausted after an event and still have hours of cleanup left—with no compensation for that work.

Charging for setup and cleanup isn’t about making more money—it’s about valuing the time, labor, and care that go into every event.

Every minute spent delivering, setting up, breaking down, and cleaning is part of the service. If those costs aren’t covered by the client, they’re absorbed by us.

Value your time. Your work doesn’t start when the event begins, and it doesn’t end when the guests leave.
