They say the apple doesnā€™t fall far from the tree, and my Alyssa is living proof! ā¤ļø

I am beyond proud that Alyssa, now an Event Coordinator for the Black Student Union (BSO) at CollegešŸ™ŒšŸ½

This accomplishment is extra special to me because several years ago, I took event planning class and working constantly afterward. Alyssa has traveled with me, attended events by my side, and helped with everything from setup to breakdown. She has seen the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, and somewhere along the way, she picked up a little creativity of her own.

Now, sheā€™s creating beautiful dessert tables. This summer, she launched her own business, Fruity Treats Co., where sheā€™s also stepping into the food truck business. Now, adding campus event planning to her growing list of accomplishments!

Keep shining!!
