At the end of our first cake, sip and create class we asked each attendee to fill out a feedback card so we could know what they liked and disliked about the experience and to also find out what type of different themes they would like to see offered in the future.
The feedback was so helpful! It allowed us to see if they really enjoyed themselves, if this would be something we could continue to offer in the future and how we could improve in any area of the experience. Was so happy to see that 30% of the people who signed up for next Sunday’s experience also attended the first experience 🙌🏽🙌🏽

This long-time client just found out yesterday that Unforgettables will no longer be offering custom cakes and desserts.
As a business, we go through ups and downs. Sometime we have to pivot and make tough decisions that sometimes may feel like the wrong decision.
Not knowing exactly how the future will look has been a scary feeling that I’ve been battling, but continuing to operate as usual and being afraid of change would be even scarier for me.

We are moving into a space that will allow us to offer a more intimate and direct/face to face experiences. These will include pop up shops, cake jar gatherings, cake/sip/create experiences along with dedicating more effort to develop our latest product, Ginny’s Apples. But don’t worry, you can still have your cake, it will just be in jars! 😊
Our last day of providing custom cakes and desserts will be June 8th. 🗓️ 🎂

Merry Christmas to everyone! It was six years ago when my family and I sat around the Christmas tree and talked about how stewed apples had become a permanent breakfast menu item for our family. It was then that I told my Mom that I wanted to create Ginny’s Apples. Ginny’s Apples has been on the table for breakfast, lunch and dinners since I can remember. This recipe was passed down from my grandmother (Eloise Mosley Young) to my Mom, who she always called “Ginny”. As a little girl I remember enjoying “apples” as we would call them when we would visit my grandparents home. Whether she was cooking them for breakfast or taking them out of the fridge for dinner, stewed apples were always on the table. My Mom began to make them once we got a little older, mostly during the holidays and for special family occasions. We would always look forward to her making them for Thanksgiving.
