Sorry we have been a little quiet this week, between the last week of school, work, and prepping for this weekend’s Cottage Crawl…. It’s been a little chaotic over here!

This Memorial Day, we remember.
We remember the men and women who gave everything in service to our country.
The ones who never made it home.
The families forever changed by their sacrifice.
The children who grew up with memories instead of moments.

For many, Memorial Day weekend means gathering with family, firing up the grill, heading to the lake, and enjoying the freedoms we often take for granted. But before the celebrations begin, may we all take a moment to pause and reflect on why this holiday exists in the first place.

Freedom has never been free.

Today, we honor the fallen. We remember their sacrifice. And we hold close the families ⭐️ who carry that loss every single day.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten...

Happy Thursday…man - did yesterday feel like the Monday-est Wednesday to anyone else? I’m getting my days all confused!

Some exciting news from our family to share with you all — my son’s U15 soccer team has earned a spot at Nationals and will be competing at the MLS NEXT Academy Cup in Salt Lake City!

As proud as I am of the stand and this little community we’ve built together, being there to support him and his team on this journey means everything.

Because of that, the stand will be OPEN this week Wednesday–Friday, then CLOSED beginning Saturday while we head out for the tournament.

Our return date will depend on how far the team advances — the earliest we’d be back is Wednesday, and the latest would be Sunday the 31st. The better they do, the longer we stay…

I’ll keep everyone updated on reopening plans as we go, and I truly appreciate the understanding, support, and flexibility. I know this is not ideal as it falls on the heels of my recent work trip.

Thank you all for understanding, and for supporting both the stand and our family. North Idaho will be well represented.

Happy Wednesday morning! My apologies if you stopped by this morning only to be met w a lock on the door….this bonehead inadvertently placed the padlock back on the door after stocking the stand 🤦🏻‍♀️ so sorry! The stand is now accessible for your browsing pleasure….
