Hey - Hwy 54 Family - Take a look at this opportunity for some October fun! What better way to get into the spirit of fall than with a Pumpkin Decorating Contest at Hwy 54 Farm Stand!

Tap into your creativity, carve and/or decorate your pumpkin, then submit a photo of yourself alongside your festive creation! Send your photo by message to Hwy 54 Farm Stand – Athol, and include the contestant’s name and age.

One winner in each of our five age groups will receive a free bag of cookies!
Age groups: 3–4, 5–7, 8–10, 11–17, and 18+. **Adults are encouraged to join the fun, too!

Winners will be announced October 28 online

Rules:

1. One entry per contestant.
2. All entries must be received by midnight on October 25.

Happy Saturday! It’s a brisk one out there today…could see my breath as I was stocking the stand!

Feels like a good day for some comfort food. Grilled cheese on jalapeño-cheddar sourdough with tomato soup, maybe some beef stew with garlic herb and cheese focaccia for dipping, or maybe a bacon, egg and cheese sandwiche on a savory Kaiser roll. How about a warm pumpkin spice scone with your coffee next to the fire? - that sounds pretty good, too.

To our hunters—have you filled that tag yet? Show us that bull or buck in the comments! We love seeing the success stories of our local hunters and hearing a good hunting story along with them.

The Stand is CLOSED today, Sunday, October 4.

Yesterday’s North Idaho Cottage Crawl exhausted our supplies—and our energy! We’re taking today to rest, catch our breath, and get ready for another week of baking.

Thank you for the incredible turnout, kind conversations, and love you poured into our little stand. Our shelves may be empty, but our hearts are so so full.

We look forward to seeing everyone again on Wednesday, October 7!

What a day, North Idaho - you SHOWED UP!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by today during our North Idaho Cottage Crawl - Fall Event! I finally got to pair so many familiar names with kind faces, and I loved having the chance to visit with you. Hwy 54 Farm Stand welcomed over 200 visitors, and the crawl had 115 completed entries submitted into the giveaway drawing!

On behalf of the entire North Idaho Cottage Crawl team, thank you, sincerely, for the overwhelming support. Every visit, conversation, purchase, and word of encouragement means so much to the families behind these little stands. We’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another.

Hwy 54 will be closed tomorrow, Sunday, October 4. Our hearts are full, but we’re exhausted after the crawl and need a day to rest! We will be open and back to business on Wednesday!

As the season winds down, please check with your local stands for updated hours. Rest assured, Hwy 54 Farm Stand will be open year-round! We look forward to continued neighborly connection with this community.

Tomorrow, start at any of the 8 participating locations, pick up a crawl card, and collect a stamp at each stop. Turn in your completed blackout bingo card at your final stop to enter the prize drawing—no purchase necessary!

Grab your friends, bring cash or have Venmo ready, and come meet your local bakers, makers, and cottage hosts. Who’s joining us tomorrow?

Grab your friends and spend the day meeting your local crafters, bakers, and cottage hosts in person! Here’s how to join the fun:
