We are continually amazed by the support this community shows our little farm stand. Every visit, purchase, recommendation, shared post and kind word means more to us than you know.

It’s time for the North Idaho State Fair!! Who has entries this year? Who’s planning on going? Who has pics to share?

This photo was taken at the North Idaho Fair and somehow, back in August of 1988 (yikes), us kids even made it into the paper. Long before Hwy 54 Farm Stand ever existed, it was just a few cousins making memories together. Pictured here are my sister Brandy, me, and our cousins Sylvia and Jaime — most of the same people behind many of the goods you now find stocked in the stand today.

What started as childhood memories, family traditions, and growing up together in this little corner of the world eventually became the community and farm stand we’re grateful to share with all of you now.

We may be older now, but not much has changed — we still love small-town fairs, North Idaho summers, and the simple joy of bringing people together.

Thank you for supporting our little roadside stand and being part of this story with us!

Excited to begin our Dear American Hero campaign; Send a Little Piece of Home

While most of us go about our everyday lives, our Idaho service members remain deployed overseas—some serving in harm’s way. Back home, their families are carrying added responsibilities, missing important moments together and navigating the challenges of deployment.

Between now and September 30, we invite our community to help remind them that they are seen, appreciated and never forgotten.

Write, type, draw or creatively make a letter of encouragement for a deployed service member or a military family supporting their loved one from home. Children are encouraged to participate too!

A few simple guidelines:

• Keep your message positive and encouraging.
• Do not include full names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses or social-media handles.
• Please avoid political messages or questions about deployment locations and missions.
• Do not include glitter, confetti, food or other loose items.
• Place your letter in an unsealed envelope marked “Service Member” or “Military Family.”

Drop your letter in the black ammo can inside Hwy 54 Farm Stand by September 30.

At the end of September, all letters will be collected, reviewed and distributed through verified military contacts and partner organizations to deployed service members and military families.

No purchase is necessary—just a few thoughtful words from a grateful community to help send a little piece of home. 🇺🇸
