I like to try different bread recipes to see if there's something new we can add to what we offer - and some of these have been amazing additions. This beauty here is a Sesame Semolina Loaf. It consists of almost all semolina flour, and it had a hearty dense texture. It definitely wasn't bad, but it was a little different from our many other varieties. Have you ever tried this bread? Is it something you would be interested in trying?

If you love the arts - especially dance and music - you don’t want to miss Huntsville Ballet Company’s final performance tomorrow afternoon! The dancers did an amazing job as always, and the music score was live and perfect for the performance! Perfect for an afternoon date or for an outing with your kids.

Normally, I put clear sugar crystals on my snowballs to, well, make them look like snowballs, but don’t let that hinder your imagination! I’ve done them with pink sugar for a birthday party, and these here I made fall festive. I have a variety of colors and sized sugar crystals and nonpareils, so if you want these customized for your event just reach out to us to discuss! No matter how you decorate the outside, the inside will be a creamy peanut butter center that just melts in your mouth! Yum! 🥜

The first Athens Honey Bee Festival last weekend was a smashing success! Hope you were able to make it out. If not, add it to your calendar for next year, because it should be even bigger and better! Our next big event is Vintage Market Days of N. Alabama in Decatur. Nov. 6-8 - hope to see you there for all your Christmas favorites! In the meantime, place an order for a special spooky treat for your Halloween fun or for a six-pack of our decadent and delicious Apple C***r Donuts!

The first Athens Honey Bee Festival was a smashing success today! A big thank you to our friends, farmers market fellow vendors, and regular customers who came out to support us and also thank you to the many new customers we met today! We appreciate you all! The sweet treats are baked and packaged for tomorrow's first Athens Honey Bee Festival, and several of the breads and sweet breads are proofing for an early morning bake. The festival will be at the farmers market pavilion at 409 W. Green Street, and we will be set up in Booth #22.

We decided to add a few favorite that were not on the menu, so come early if you want those - Raisin Bread, Cinnamon Rolls, Italian, Spiced Pumpkin Monkey Bread, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dippers, Honey Sriracha Almonds and Cinnamon Candied Pecans.
