Fridays After Five started with a grey sky, but ended up being an absolutely beautiful night! Maclin & Co. played the favorites, and we brought the sweet treats!

This week we will be at the Athens Farmers Market on Tuesday afternoon, 3-6 p.m., and on Saturday morning, 8 a.m.-noon, in Booth No. 24. Following are our menus for this week and some photos highlighting some of the items, including the all-new and newly named Campfire Crush Cookie (two of our Fudge Rounds cookies filled with marshmallow filling and topped with chocolate ganache buttercream and toasted graham cracker crumbs)! Tuesday is also the last chance to place a pre-order for Father's Day. Don't wait until the last minute to order a sweet treat for the special Dads in your life!

We are also going to set up at the next two Fridays After Five as well, June 26 and July 31, so stay tuned for those menus!

And finally, if you haven't heard yet, we have been nominated for the Best of the Best in Limestone County for 2026 in the Bakery category and the Athens Farmers Market was nominated for the best place to buy Produce category! We would be grateful for your support and vote on the News Courier's website at:

I was able to bake this vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream for a sweet customer this week. We hope Granny had a great birthday and enjoyed her cake! 🎂

Thank you all for your suggestions for naming our new cookie! We received some really good ones and enjoyed reading them all. While looking at the names and after our taste test, we just felt like it needed something else. So after some discussion, we decided to try topping it with toasted graham cracker... and it was GOOD!

So, to recap: this is two of our Fudge Rounds cookies filled with marshmallow filling and topped with chocolate ganache buttercream and toasted graham cracker crumbs.

So now it's time for you to vote on what we're going to name this thing:
