PSA for all my fellow bakers and cottage businesses. Watch for people posing as customers who do not have profiles that are complete or active. If you're blocked from their profile you should question everything. For those who use Venmo or other online payment platforms, NEVER click the link "they" send to you unsolicited. If you have a question about information that is requested of you, go directly to the platform in question and locate their contact tab.

I was able to avoid fraudulently access to my Venmo by doing just that. If you did not give them (the online payment platform) permission to contact you via text, they will never send a link to correct an issue via text. Ask the questions.
