We're a worker-owned cooperative dedicated to our tenants of joyful work, strong community, and delicious food using local and organic ingredients to handcraft bread, food, pastry, and coffee since 2004. Our coffee drinks are made with Astoria Coffee Co. organic and locally roasted fair trade coffee; organic milk or milk substitutes; homemade organic syrups; and love. We buy local, organic produce

and use organic ingredients in our pastries, bread, and food! Our windows look north toward the mighty Columbia River, and there is a small park on the south side of the building that is perfect for summer picnics.

🌟 Worker Spotlight 🌟

Today the spotlight shines on two of our incredible cooks! Hunter and Dave make work fun, joyful, and productive. They're both eager to lend a hand, and have become such vital members of our team.

Hunter loves a matcha lemonade and a breakfast sandwich, while Dave's go to drink is an iced oat quad shot maple cinnamon latte. In addition to snacking on whatever sweet treat calls to him, he loves our grilled cheese sandwich.

Thank you to Hunter and Dave for everything they do! The Scorcher shines so much brighter with y'all here ✨

On a budget between $1,000 and 1,500/month, her dream is 2-bedroom, but anything within downtown Astoria and walking distance to Blue Scorcher is open to consideration.
