Good afternoon Facebook family! We have the most exciting news. We received the Silver Award in the Dessert Category for Best of Southern Oregon. We are so blessed! To everyone who voted, thank you so much! And to everyone who likes a picture, comes in for a slice, or lets us be a part of your celebration, thank you. You all keep our dream alive. We’ve put our hearts and souls into this shop and could not feel more honored to be recognized alongside so many amazing businesses.
Having just passed our 2 year anniversary, this is a perfect moment for reflection. If we can be candid, running a small business is all consuming. It is mentally, emotionally and physically demanding. Everyday brings a new hurdle or hoop to jump through. It’s the topic of so many (if not most) of Rick and I’s conversations. How we can grow, where we can improve, how we can best serve our community, while also juggling how we can best support each other and be the best we can be for our 3 kiddos. It can be a lot.
But, getting to wake up everyday knowing we built something as a family and that our community supports us, what an overwhelming blessing. Every friendly conversation, every sale, review, email, post (and now award!!) is proof. It’s because of all of you. Knowing that, gives us the fire to keep going. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you. Last but not least, a HUGE thank you to our crew. We could not do it alone. They show up for us every day and we are so grateful.
