Cherry Creek Orchard is planning to bring purple hull peas and peaches. May be the last market for these two items. Sure hope to see you!

Chula's Food Truck has supported our Market all summer and we are so grateful to Victor and his family. Now we want to support them by announcing some news.

They will be opening a restaurant in Town very soon. Located in a bldg on the square (Ciao Chow bldg), This is because all of you have show them support at our market.

As soon as they get their inspection from the Health Dept, it will open soon after that. Thank you all for showing them how much we appreciate them coming each week and we wish them much success...Janet

Market tomorrow Aug 26th....still have lots of veggies, tomatoes, watermelons, okra, onions, garlic, figs, to name some. Muscadines are coming in so pick up some, along with muscadine pie filling, wide variety of jellies, syrups, pickles, relishes, chow chow, salsa,

Goat milk cheese, soaps/lotions, soy candles in many fragrances, cut flower bouquets, eggs.

Dig in will have chicken/bacon/ranch sandwiches on homemade bread, jalapeno Kolache, rustic breads and donuts! Glazed and chocolate.

Starts at 8-11:30 on the square in Ashland

Market Wed., Aug. 19th. Starts at 8am BUT will close at 11 due to temps/heat. Still have tomatoes, onions, garlic, peaches, okra, watermelon and figs...just to name a few. Goat milk soaps/lotions and cheese, baked desserts, breads with many different flavors, jewelry handmade, jellies, gourd crafts.

As far as we know, Chula’S Food Truck LLC will be there. Come early - will be set-up on the street in the shade.

Market Wed., Aug. 12 from 8a-11:30. Still have tomatoes, okra, squash, potatoes, onion, garlic, eggplant, dried herbs. All types of pickles, salsa, relish, chow chow. Desserts/cookies, Breads of many flavors, including a new one pepperoni.

Goat milk lotions and soaps, freshies, all types of handcrafted jewelry, jellies and jams, painted gourd crafts and sooo much more.

Sarah will have muffalettas and Kolaches and fresh baked Italian Bread.

Stop in and see us. We will be on the street for easy access.

Market Wed., Aug 5th on the square in Ashland from 8a-11:30.

Chula’S Food Truck LLC is back and will be ready to cook and serve you from 9-4p.

Between the rain and the excessive heat, playing it's toil on vegetables, but we still have okra, tomatoes, onions, garlic, potatoes, peaches and more.

David Bakes, our new vendor, has many flavors of freshed baked breads. He will have more jalapeno/cheddar, bacon cheddar and Italian, plus many more flavors. Mike has muscadine jelly and pie filling.

Freshies, for your car or house, 3D print objects, handmade jewelry, soy candles, goat milk lotions, soaps and cheese, fresh cut flowers, and so much more. Come join us in the shade - we appreciate you coming.

Clarification on where the proposed pavilion can be located. I have had many people ask "why not talk to the County?" We, the Board, did go to the County Supervisors first. They have always been supportive of our Market. The funds that will pay for this stipulates the structure would be built on gov't land, County or Town. In an effort to keep this within the Town limits, the only land available is within the town limits.

The meeting Tues. evening with the Mayor and Aldermen is very important. We have been working on this for a long time. I just hope they decide to do the right thing for the Market, their citizens and other businesses in Town. It's the right thing to do.
