The Benton County Farmers' Market- Ashland, MS State Certified We are located on the historic Benton County Courthouse lawn on the square of Ashland We are proud to provide locally grown vegetables and fruits.

Thank you all that came today - it was Dairy Day. The kids got to milk the cow and learn about importance of dairy. Brandi Reese with Farm Bureau passed out ice cream to everyone. More new vendors, the lawn was full.

What's on the menu tomorrow (Wed)? Lots of fresh, locally grown vegetables and fruits. Tomatoes, cabbage, zucchini, squash, green beans beets, kohlrabi, okra....strawberries, peaches, blackberries, the list goes on and on.

Huge variety of baked goods, cakes, pies, cookies, fresh baked breads. Specialty jams and jellies, assortment of pickles, salsa, relishes. Specialty vanilla extracts.

Handcrafted jewlery, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, jewel art, 3D items, freshies. Goat milk cheeses, soaps, lotions. Dig In, LLC will have strawberry lemonade and Italian sandwiches. 2 Fishes Seafood has a wide variety of fish, including trout and shrimp

Tomorrow is DAIRY DAY! Bring the kids to try their hands at milking a cow (faux) and importance of dairy products. They will also receive a gift bag. Starts at 9am.

Also, Brandi with Farm Bureau will be there at 9am to pass out ice cream to everyone (while it last),

SENIOR NUTRITION VOUCHERS - NOTICE

We have just been notified that there are no funds to support this program, new applications or returning applications. The State's funds for this program have been drastically cut this year. Of course, we are saddened by this news because it does help so many 60+ year old folks.

ATTENTION: SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM - VOUCHERS

The ladies WILL NOT be coming this year. If you need to have your card reloaded or first time participant, you MUST go online and fill out brief form.
The ladies at the Benton County Library will be glad to help you with this. Make sure you take your card from last year. They will need that. The link is below. Do it quickly before funds are gone for this year.

It was a great kick-off to Market season. We want to thank Chula's for coming and serving fantastic food. The entire community thanks you. And to our vendors. They work so hard to bring you their best and are so faithful to come each week.

Next week we are celebrating Dairy Day. Bring the kids to milk the cow (faux) and everyone will receive ice cream furnished by Brandi at Farm Bureau. Cow milking starts at 9am.
