Today marks 5 years of TailorMade Creations. 🤍
And I never imagined I would be writing this on our five-year anniversary.
When I started this little business five years ago, I had no idea where it would take me. What started as baking cookies turned into so much more — birthdays, weddings, holidays, baby showers, graduations, businesses, milestones, and so many incredible people who trusted me to be a tiny part of their special moments.
But today, I have some difficult news to share.
After everything I’ve been dealing with health-wise, my doctor has told me that I can no longer bake with traditional wheat flour. Because of that, I have to step away from the cookie business as I know it.
And honestly… this one hurts.
TailorMade has been more than just a business to me. It has been something I built from the ground up. It gave me an outlet to be creative, a reason to keep going through some really difficult seasons, and a community that I am incredibly grateful for.
I never wanted my health to be the reason I had to close this chapter.
But I’ve also learned that sometimes taking care of yourself means making really hard decisions — even when they’re not the decisions you would have chosen.
So today, instead of celebrating another year of cookies, I’m celebrating five years of memories.
Every order.
Every late night.
Every dozen cookies that took way longer than they probably should have. 😂
Every customer who came back.
Every recommendation, share, tag, and kind message.
Thank you.
Thank you for supporting my little business. Thank you for trusting me with your celebrations and allowing me to be part of so many special moments.
I truly couldn’t have made it five years without you.
For now, I need to listen to my body, listen to my doctor, and put my health first.
So here’s to five years of TailorMade Creations.
Five years of cookies.
Five years of creativity.
Five years of memories.
And five years of an incredible community.
Thank you for letting me be your cookie lady. 🍪🤍
