Opened in 2018, Button & Co. Bagels is chef Katie Button and team's newest Asheville restaurant. Located on Lexington Avenue, it's a take on the classic bagel shop, inspired by Asheville's Appalachian roots, with a focus on sustainability and local ingredients. Guests choose from plain, rye, salt, benne seed, seeded and everything varieties and seasonal flavors like fig & sorghum, served with toppings ranging from house made gravlax and smoked sable rubbed in wild sumac to a rotating selection of seasonal cream cheese, spreads and fruit preserves. Bagels also offers a line of house made and bottled sodas in classic flavors such as celery and strawberry along with freshly-pressed orange juice for guests to enjoy.
