Hey bagel friends!! Have you checked out ??? They just opened off of Patton Ave, and they are AWESOME, as evidenced by the bagel pic and the line out the door at 8:10 AM.

We miss making bagels for y’all, but we are thrilled for Claire and her team of rollers, boilers, bakers, and sandwich makers!

Go check them out, and please be patient as they are working to scale production for the HUGE demand for bodacious bagels. Speaking from personal experience 😉, it’s an enormous labor of love to do bagels the right way. Hand-rolling, cold-proofing, boiling, baking on bagel boards…they are doing it RIGHT!

Dear Bagel Friends,

We hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and well. Due to some life changes post-Helene, we have made the difficult decision to suspend indefinitely Asheville Bagel Co.’s business operations, including all bagel subscriptions, effective immediately.

This has not been an easy choice, because we love you all and we love making bagels for you, but we cannot currently deliver the quality and service you expect from us. At this time, we are uncertain when or if we will resume operations.

Please know that we truly appreciate you and your encouragement and support of our little bagel business. It has been a joy to see your smiling faces at bagel meetups all around town!

Gurgling, burbling, sparkling in the sun,

A sigh of refuge from a hectic world,

But when the furious hurricane came,
