After some thought (and especially after my recent oven repair debacle), I’ve decided to close my micro bakery.
[The last pre-order date will be for a May 30 pickup.]
Short version: Turns out running a micro-bakery on top of a full-time job and another business is… ambitious. And I definitely over-committed. 💯
Longer version: I LOVED baking for you, especially the science + art of sourdough, but I hit a point where doing more, and doing it well (like expanding my menu) would mean investing time and equipment I just don’t have without spreading myself way too thin.
And I’d rather stop than do it halfway.
So this is me making a grown-up decision, even if it’s not the fun one.
THANK YOU to everyone who ordered, and for supporting this little bakery!
I’m not done creating, I’m just redirecting where that energy goes.
And yes… I will still be baking. Just not at scale, and not on a production schedule 🙂
